Louisiana High School Basketball - Covenant Christian Academy defeats Hanson Memorial
February 11, 2025: Franklin, LA 70538 The Covenant Christian Academy Lions (Houma, LA) basketball were winner over the host Hanson Memorial Tigers (Franklin, LA), 65-50 in Tuesday's league bout.
The Lions now possess a 13-15 record. They play next when they travel to Phoenix for a non-league bout on Thursday, February 13. Covenant Christian Academy will play a Spartans team coming off a 51-37 non-league loss to Metairie Park Country Day (Metairie, LA). The Spartans record now stands at 14-12.
With the loss, Hanson Memorial falls to 9-18 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Centerville (Centerville, LA) to play the Bulldogs in a 1A District 7 bout on Friday, February 14. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 12-13. Centerville lost 70-38 in their recent league bout against Central Catholic (Morgan City, LA)
