Michigan High School Basketball - Melvindale victorious over Edsel Ford
February 11, 2025: Melvindale, MI 48122 In Tuesday's non-league contest, the host Melvindale Cardinals basketball team scored a good 62-54 win over the Edsel Ford Thunderbirds.
The Cardinals (12-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Romulus (Romulus, MI). The Eagles come into the Western Wayne challenge with a 6-11 record. In their last challenge, Romulus was knocked off by Redford Union (Redford, MI), 51-41, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Thunderbirds encounter the Anderson Titans (Southgate, MI) in a Downriver challenge, on Thursday, February 13. Edsel Ford will attempt to improve on its 7-12 season record. The Titans come into the challenge with a 5-14 record after their 61-43 league loss to Woodhaven (Brownstown, MI).
