Ohio High School Basketball - West Geauga can't hold off Jefferson Area
February 11, 2025: Jefferson, OH 44047 Jefferson Area Falcons (Jefferson, OH) supporters left the game happy Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the visiting West Geauga Wolverines (Chesterland, OH), 59-54 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Jefferson Area advances its record to 16-3 on the year. The Falcons travel to Grand Valley (Orwell, OH) to face the Mustangs in a non-league match on Friday, February 14. The Mustangs enter the match with a record of 19-2. Grand Valley won 71-50 in their recent non-league match against Conneaut (Conneaut, OH)
The Wolverines now own a 17-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Holy Name for a non-league match on Friday, February 21.
