January 7, 2025: Perry, OH 44081 Perry Pirates (Perry, OH) boosters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting West Geauga Wolverines (Chesterland, OH), 76-64 in a league match.
With the victory, Perry upgrades its record to 7-1 on the year. The Pirates travel to Orange (Pepper Pike, OH) to face the Lions in a Chagrin Valley - Chagrin match on Thursday, January 9. The Lions enter the match with a record of 5-6. Orange lost 73-49 in their recent league match against Hawken (Gates Mills, OH)
The Wolverines now sport a 7-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Chagrin Falls for a Chagrin Valley - Chagrin match on Friday, January 10. West Geauga will face a Tigers squad coming off a 80-72 league win over Harvey (Painesville, OH). The Tigers record now stands at 6-5.
