Louisiana High School Basketball - Southern Lab can't hold off McKinley
February 11, 2025: Baton Rouge, LA 70813 McKinley Panthers (Baton Rouge, LA) supporters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the host Southern Lab Kittens (Baton Rouge, LA), 65-58 in a non-league match.
With the victory, McKinley advances its record to 17-8 on the year. The Panthers travel to Brusly (Brusly, LA) to face the Panthers in a 4A District 6 match on Friday, February 14. The Panthers enter the match with a record of 25-11.
The Kittens now own a 23-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Collegiate for a non-league match on Thursday, February 13. Southern Lab will face a squad coming off a 72-30 league loss to GEO Next Generation (Baton Rouge, LA). The record now stands at 11-19.
