February 11, 2025: Galliano, LA 70354 The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Assumption Mustangs (Napoleonville, LA) and the host South Lafourche Tarpons (Galliano, LA), observed Assumption's basketball team edge South Lafourche by a margin of 55-53.
The Mustangs (12-15) will now prepare for their challenge against Glen Oaks (Baton Rouge, LA). The Panthers come into the non-league challenge with a 14-14 record.
In their next game, the Tarpons battle the East St. John Wildcats (Reserve, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, February 12. South Lafourche will attempt to better on its 13-13 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 16-10 record after their 51-50 league loss to Terrebonne (Houma, LA).
