February 11, 2025: Creole, LA 70643 Hackberry Mustangs (Hackberry, LA) boosters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the host South Cameron Tarpons (Creole, LA), 47-37 in a league match.
With the victory, Hackberry upgrades its record to 14-15 on the year. The Mustangs host Singer (Singer, LA) to face the Hornets in a C District 5 match on Thursday, February 13. The Hornets enter the match with a record of 18-9. Singer won 40-22 in their recent non-league match against DeQuincy (DeQuincy, LA)
The Tarpons now sport a 3-16 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Starks for a C District 5 match on Thursday, February 13. South Cameron will face a Panthers squad coming off a 46-43 league win over Johnson Bayou (Cameron, LA). The Panthers record now stands at 22-12.
