North Carolina High School Basketball - Union fells Hobbton

February 11, 2025: Rose Hill, NC 28458

The Union Spartans basketball team scored 45 points and limited the visiting Hobbton Wildcats to 32 in the Spartans league triumph on Tuesday.

The Spartans now possess a 4-16 record. They play next when they travel to Neuse Charter for a 1A Carolina game on Thursday, February 13. Union will confront a Cougars team coming off a 58-31 league win over Lakewood (Roseboro, NC). The Cougars record now stands at 21-6.

With the loss, Hobbton falls to 1-15 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to North Duplin (Calypso, NC) to confront the Rebels in a 1A Carolina game on Thursday, February 13. The Rebels go into the game with a record of 18-4. North Duplin won 46-19 in their recent league game against Rosewood (Goldsboro, NC)
