South Dakota High School Basketball - Wessington Springs defeats Platte/Geddes
February 11, 2025: Platte, SD 57369 The Wessington Springs Spartans (Wessington Springs, SD) basketball were winner over the host Platte/Geddes Black Panthers (Platte, SD), 44-27 in Tuesday's non-league bout.
The Spartans now possess a 7-10 record. They play next when they host Hitchcock-Tulare for a non-league bout on Thursday, February 13. Wessington Springs will play a Patriots team coming off a 44-40 non-league loss to Highmore/Harrold (Highmore, SD). The Patriots record now stands at 7-10.
With the loss, Platte/Geddes falls to 4-14 on the campaign. The Black panthers travel to Bon Homme (Tyndall, SD) to play the Cavaliers in a non-league bout on Friday, February 14. The Cavaliers go into the bout with a record of 5-12. Bon Homme lost 47-40 in their recent non-league bout against Burke (Burke, SD)
