South Dakota High School Basketball - Platte/Geddes trounced by Miller
February 8, 2025: Platte, SD 57369 Miller Rustlers (Miller, SD) supporters left the game happy Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the host Platte/Geddes Black Panthers (Platte, SD), 56-15 in a league match.
With the victory, Miller advances its record to 13-3 on the year. The Rustlers host Mt. Vernon/Plankinton (Mt. Vernon, SD) to face the Titans in a non-league match on Tuesday, February 11. The Titans enter the match with a record of 14-3. Mt. Vernon/Plankinton won 47-28 in their recent non-league match against Chamberlain (Chamberlain, SD)
The Black Panthers now own a 4-13 record. They put it on the line next when they host Wessington Springs for a non-league match on Tuesday, February 11. Platte/Geddes will face a Spartans squad coming off a 31-26 non-league loss to Tripp-Delmont/Armour (Armour, SD). The Spartans record now stands at 6-10.
