February 11, 2025: San Diego, CA 92124 The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Coronado Islanders (Coronado, CA) and the host Canyon Hills Rattlers (San Diego, CA), observed Coronado's basketball team overwhelm Canyon Hills by a score of 64-35.
The Islanders (11-13) will now prepare for their challenge against La Jolla (La Jolla, CA). The Vikings come into the challenge with a 15-4 record. In their last challenge, La Jolla was routed by Madison (San Diego, CA), 70-39, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Rattlers encounter the Mira Mesa Marauders (San Diego, CA) in a challenge, on Thursday, February 13. Canyon Hills will attempt to improve on its 7-12 season record. The Marauders come into the challenge with a 10-13 record after their 71-52 league loss to Point Loma (San Diego, CA).
