The Trinity Catholic Celtics held off the host South Sumter Raiders baseball team by a margin of 16-15 in Wednesday's non-league test.

The Celtics now hold a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to North Marion for a non-league test on Friday, February 13. Trinity Catholic will play a Colts team coming off a 10-6 non-league win over Keystone Heights (Keystone Heights, FL). The Colts record now stands at 2-0.

With the loss, South Sumter moves to 1-1 on the season. The Raiders travel to Bishop McLaughlin Catholic (Spring Hill, FL) to battle the Hurricanes in a non-league outing on Thursday, February 12.
