Massachusetts High School Basketball - KIPP Academy Lynn Collegiate can't hold off Lowell Catholic
February 12, 2023: Lowell, MA 01851 The Lowell Catholic Crusaders basketball team scored 64 points and held the visiting KIPP Academy Lynn Collegiate Panthers to 59 in the Crusaders non-league triumph on Sunday.
The Crusaders now sport a 8-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Whittier RVT for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 14. Lowell Catholic will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 88-51 non-league loss to Peabody Veterans Memorial (Peabody, MA). The Wildcats record now stands at 8-7.
The Panthers (7-7) will now prepare for their contest against Greater Lowell Tech (Tyngsborough, MA). The Gryphons enter the Commonwealth - Upper contest with a 8-5 record. In their last contest, Greater Lowell Tech was nudged by Lowell Catholic (Lowell, MA), 56-54, in a non-league contest.
