February 12, 2024: Olivia, MN 56277 The Sauk Centre Mainstreeters basketball team scored 56 points and restricted the host B O L D Warriors to 37 in the Mainstreeters non-league victory on Monday.
The Mainstreeters now sport a 17-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Royalton for a AA Section 6 contest on Friday, February 16. Sauk Centre will battle a Royals team coming off a 57-44 league loss to Kimball (Kimball, MN). The Royals record now stands at 8-15.
The Warriors (14-9) will now prepare for their contest against Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta (Morris, MN). The Tigers come into the non-league contest with a 14-8 record. In their last contest, Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta dropped by Eden Valley-Watkins (Eden Valley, MN), 65-62, in a league contest.
