Kentucky High School Basketball - Jeffersontown holds off Bullitt East
February 12, 2024: Mt. Washington, KY 40047 Fans at Monday's league challenge between the Jeffersontown Chargers (Louisville, KY) and the host Bullitt East Chargers (Mt. Washington, KY), saw Jeffersontown's basketball squad hold off Bullitt East by a tally of 57-52.
With the victory, Jeffersontown improves its record to 11-13 on the campaign. The Chargers travel to Ballard (Louisville, KY) to confront the Bruins in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 13. The Bruins come into the challenge with a record of 10-12. Ballard lost 63-59 in their recent non-league challenge against Trinity (Louisville, KY)
Next up, the Chargers confront the Spencer County Bears (Taylorsville, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, February 13. Bullitt East will attempt to improve on its 14-9 season record. The Bears come into the challenge with a 16-8 record after their 76-43 non-league win over Walton-Verona (Walton, KY).
