February 9, 2024: Mt. Washington, KY 40047 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Elizabethtown Panthers (Elizabethtown, KY) and the host Bullitt East Chargers (Mt. Washington, KY), saw Elizabethtown's basketball squad overcome Bullitt East by a tally of 70-55.
With the victory, Elizabethtown improves its record to 17-6 on the campaign. The Panthers host Larue County (Hodgenville, KY) to confront the Hawks in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 13. The Hawks come into the challenge with a record of 15-8. Larue County won 69-55 in their recent non-league challenge against Fairdale (Fairdale, KY)
Next up, the Chargers confront the Jeffersontown Chargers (Louisville, KY) in a District 24 challenge, on Monday, February 12. Bullitt East will attempt to improve on its 14-8 season record. The Chargers come into the challenge with a 10-13 record after their 53-46 non-league win over Seneca (Louisville, KY).
