February 12, 2024: Freeman, SD Fans at Monday's league challenge between the Freeman Academy/Marion (Freeman, SD) and the visiting Scotland Highlanders (Scotland, SD), saw Freeman Academy/Marion's basketball squad overcome Scotland by a tally of 57-37.
With the victory, Freeman Academy/Marion improves its record to 6-11 on the campaign. The travel to Alcester-Hudson (Alcester, SD) to confront the Cubs in a B Region 4 challenge on Tuesday, February 13. The Cubs come into the challenge with a record of 7-10. Alcester-Hudson won 56-43 in their recent non-league challenge against Sioux Falls Lutheran (Sioux Falls, SD)
Next up, the Highlanders confront the Menno Wolves (Menno, SD) in a B Region 4 challenge, on Friday, February 16. Scotland will attempt to improve on its 1-17 season record.
