Minnesota High School Basketball - Minnewaska Area ripped by Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg
February 12, 2024: Glenwood, MN 56334 The Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg Fighting Saints basketball team scored 93 points and held the host Minnewaska Area Lakers to 57 in the Fighting Saints league triumph on Monday.
The Fighting Saints now sport a 12-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to MACCRAY for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 13. Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg will battle a Wolverines team coming off a 73-70 non-league loss to Atwater-Cosmos-Grove City (Grove City, MN). The Wolverines record now stands at 15-7.
The Lakers (2-21) will now prepare for their contest against New London-Spicer (New London, MN). The Wildcats enter the AA Section 3 contest with a 12-11 record. In their last contest, New London-Spicer triumphed over Howard Lake-Waverly-Winsted (Howard Lake, MN), 72-56, in a non-league contest.
