In Thursday's league match, the visiting Paynesville Bulldogs basketball team scored a good 65-50 triumph over the Minnewaska Area Lakers.

In their next game, the Bulldogs meet the Eden Valley-Watkins Eagles (Eden Valley, MN) in a AA Section 3 match, on Friday, February 23. Paynesville will attempt to move on its 18-6 season record. The Eagles enter the match with a 21-3 record after their 59-54 league win over Maple Lake (Maple Lake, MN).
