Minnesota High School Basketball - Osakis trounces Minnewaska Area
February 26, 2024: Osakis, MN 56360 The Osakis Silverstreaks (Osakis, MN) basketball crushed the visiting Minnewaska Area Lakers (Glenwood, MN), 69-46 in Monday's non-league test.
The Silverstreaks (20-5) will now prepare for their test against Royalton (Royalton, MN). The Royals go into the AA Section 6 test with a 8-18 record.
The Lakers now own a 2-25 record. They play next when they travel to Montevideo for a AA Section 3 test on Saturday, March 2. Minnewaska Area will encounter a Thunderhawks squad coming off a 86-78 league win over Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta (Morris, MN). The Thunderhawks record now stands at 20-6.
