Washington High School Basketball - Lyle/Wishram holds off Trout Lake
February 12, 2024: Lyle, WA 98635 Fans at Monday's league challenge between the Lyle/Wishram Cougars (Lyle, WA) and the visiting Trout Lake Mustangs (Trout Lake, WA), saw Lyle/Wishram's basketball squad hold off Trout Lake by a tally of 51-49.
With the victory, Lyle/Wishram improves its record to 7-9 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Condon (Condon, OR) to confront the Blue Devils in a 1A Big Sky challenge on Tuesday, February 13. The Blue Devils come into the challenge with a record of 14-6. Condon won 63-56 in their recent league challenge against Horizon Christian (Hood River, OR)
Next up, the Mustangs confront the Lyle Cougars (Lyle, WA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, February 12. Trout Lake will attempt to improve on its 9-17 season record. The Cougars come into the challenge with a 2-5 record after their 57-48 non-league loss to Trout Lake (Trout Lake, WA).
