February 12, 2024: The Plains, VA 20198 Fans at Monday's league challenge between the Randolph-Macon Academy Yellow Jackets (Front Royal, VA) and the host Wakefield School Fighting Owls (The Plains, VA), saw Randolph-Macon Academy's basketball squad overcome Wakefield School by a tally of 56-44.
With the victory, Randolph-Macon Academy improves its record to 16-3 on the campaign. The Yellow Jackets host Trinity Christian (Fairfax, VA) to play the Gryphons in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 13. The Gryphons come into the challenge with a record of 10-11. Trinity Christian won 61-48 in their recent non-league challenge against St. John's Saints (Front Royal, VA)
Next up, the Fighting Owls play the Yorktown Patriots (Arlington, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, February 14. Wakefield School will attempt to improve on its 13-4 season record. The Patriots come into the challenge with a 13-10 record after their 77-64 non-league win over Langley (McLean, VA).
