South Dakota High School Basketball - Centerville nips Elk Point-Jefferson
February 12, 2024: Centerville, SD 57014 Centerville Tornadoes (Centerville, SD) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Elk Point-Jefferson Huskies (Elk Point, SD), 48-42 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Centerville upgrades its record to 16-3 on the season. The Tornadoes travel to St. Mary (Dell Rapids, SD) to play the Cardinals in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 13. The Cardinals go into the bout with a record of 10-8. St. Mary lost 65-28 in their recent non-league bout against Corsica/Stickney (Corsica, SD)
Next up, the Huskies play the Tea Titans (Tea, SD) in a A Region 4 bout, on Friday, February 16. Elk Point-Jefferson will attempt to upgrade on its 16-3 season record.
