West Virginia High School Basketball - Chapmanville Regional can't hold off Summers County
February 12, 2024: Chapmanville, WV 25508 The Summers County Bobcats basketball team scored 49 points and restricted the host Chapmanville Regional Tigers to 46 in the Bobcats league victory on Monday.
The Bobcats now sport a 15-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Pocahontas County for a non-league contest on Friday, February 16. Summers County will battle a Warriors team coming off a 85-49 non-league loss to Petersburg (Petersburg, WV). The Warriors record now stands at 9-11.
The Tigers (11-9) will now prepare for their contest against Poca (Poca, WV). The The Dots come into the Cardinal contest with a 6-15 record. In their last contest, Poca was nudged by Wayne (Wayne, WV), 80-40, in a league contest.
