Michigan High School Basketball - Comstock Park nips Godwin Heights
February 12, 2024: Comstock Park, MI 49321 Fans at Monday's league challenge between the Comstock Park Panthers (Comstock Park, MI) and the visiting Godwin Heights Wolverines (Wyoming, MI), saw Comstock Park's basketball squad hold off Godwin Heights by a count of 48-41.
With the victory, Comstock Park upgrades its record to 5-11 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Hopkins (Hopkins, MI) to play the Vikings in a Ottawa-Kent - Silver challenge on Tuesday, February 13. The Vikings come into the challenge with a record of 7-9. Hopkins won 47-20 in their recent league challenge against Kelloggsville (Wyoming, MI)
Next up, the Wolverines play the Sparta Spartans (Sparta, MI) in a Ottawa-Kent - Blue battle, on Tuesday, February 13. Godwin Heights will attempt to improve on its 3-12 season record. The Spartans come into the battle with a 6-10 record after their 47-32 league loss to NorthPointe Christian (Grand Rapids, MI).
