February 12, 2025: Rudyard, MI 49780 Rudyard Bulldogs (Rudyard, MI) supporters left the game happy Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Manistique Emeralds (Manistique, MI), 70-49 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Rudyard advances its record to 11-8 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to Pickford (Pickford, MI) to meet the Panthers in a Eastern Upper Peninsula match on Friday, February 14. The Panthers enter the match with a record of 16-1. Pickford won 74-42 in their recent non-league match against St. Ignace (St. Ignace, MI)
The Emeralds now own a 5-17 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ishpeming for a Mid-Peninsula match on Friday, February 14. Manistique will meet a Hematites squad coming off a 75-70 non-league win over Menominee (Menominee, MI). The Hematites record now stands at 8-10.
