Louisiana High School Basketball - Sacred Heart trounced by Teurlings Catholic
February 12, 2025: Lafayette, LA 70501 Teurlings Catholic Rebels (Lafayette, LA) supporters left the game happy Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Sacred Heart Trojans (Ville Platte, LA), 69-45 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Teurlings Catholic advances its record to 23-14 on the year. The Rebels host Comeaux (Lafayette, LA) to face the Spartans in a 4A District 4 match on Friday, February 14. The Spartans enter the match with a record of 16-23. Comeaux won 60-46 in their recent league match against Rayne (Rayne, LA)
The Trojans now own a 10-15 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Elton for a non-league match on Thursday, February 13. Sacred Heart will face a Indians squad coming off a 41-36 league win over Grand Lake (Lake Charles, LA). The Indians record now stands at 9-17.
