The crowd at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Bartlett Yancey Buccaneers (Yanceyville, NC) and the visiting Cummings Cavaliers (Burlington, NC), observed Bartlett Yancey's basketball team overwhelm Cummings by a score of 50-29.

The Buccaneers (14-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Seaforth (Pittsboro, NC). The Hawks come into the non-league challenge with a 11-11 record. In their last challenge, Seaforth trounced Graham (Graham, NC), 64-30, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Cavaliers encounter the Southeast Alamance Stallions (Haw River, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, February 14. Cummings will attempt to improve on its 2-11 season record. The Stallions come into the challenge with a 11-9 record after their 46-18 non-league win over North Moore (Robbins, NC).
