The Nevis Tigers (Nevis, MN) basketball trounced the host Blackduck Drakes (Blackduck, MN), 112-29 in Thursday's non-league test.

Next, the Tigers encounter the Laporte Wildcats (Laporte, MN) in a A Section 5 test, on Tuesday, February 17. Nevis will attempt to improve on its 19-3 season record. The Wildcats come into the test with a 1-18 record after their 93-90 non-league loss to Lake of the Woods (Baudette, MN).
