The McFarland Spartans were victorious over the visiting Sauk Prairie Eagles basketball squad by a final score of 80-62 in Thursday's league game.

The Spartans now possess a 18-3 record. They play next when they travel to Fort Atkinson for a non-league game on Tuesday, February 17. McFarland will confront a Blackhawks team coming off a 57-46 non-league win over Stoughton (Stoughton, WI). The Blackhawks record now stands at 10-11.

With the loss, Sauk Prairie falls to 15-6 on the campaign. The Eagles host Stoughton (Stoughton, WI) to play the Vikings in a Badger - Small bout on Tuesday, February 17. The Vikings go into the bout with a record of 8-12.
