February 13, 2023: Gibsonville, NC 27249 In Monday's league outing, the Greater Vision Academy Lions (Gibsonville, NC) basketball squad felled the visiting Shining Light Academy Knights (Greensboro, NC), by a margin of 79-71.
The Lions (10-7) will now prepare for their outing against Asheboro Hybrid Academy (Asheboro, NC). The Warriors go into the CAASC Central Carolina - West outing with a 5-13 record. In their last outing, Asheboro Hybrid Academy was beaten by Non Varsity Opponent (, ), 40-39, in a non-league outing.
The Knights now own a 18-9 record. They play next when they host Community Baptist for a CSAA outing on Friday, February 17. Shining Light Academy will clash with a Conqueror team coming off a 80-73 non-league win over Woodland Baptist Christian (Winston-Salem, NC). The Conqueror record now stands at 13-14.
