February 13, 2023: Maple Lake, MN 55358 The Maple Lake Irish basketball team (Maple Lake, MN), was overwhelmed 95-36 in Monday's non-league battle with the visiting Spectrum Sting (Elk River, MN)
The Sting now possess a 15-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Kimball for a AA Section 6 battle on Tuesday, February 14. Spectrum will battle a Cubs team coming off a 73-52 non-league loss to Paynesville (Paynesville, MN). The Cubs record now stands at 7-10.
The Irish (0-19) will now prepare for their battle against Royalton (Royalton, MN). The Royals come into the AA Section 6 battle with a 7-11 record. In their last battle, Royalton was overwhelmed by Holdingford (Holdingford, MN), 61-58, in a league battle.
