Minnesota High School Basketball - Pine City tops Spectrum
February 17, 2023: Pine City, MN 55063 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Pine City Dragons (Pine City, MN) and the visiting Spectrum Sting (Elk River, MN), saw Pine City's basketball squad knock off Spectrum by a tally of 78-61.
With the victory, Pine City improves its record to 11-11 on the campaign. The Dragons host Mora (Mora, MN) to play the Mustangs in a AA Section 6 challenge on Tuesday, February 21. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a record of 17-4. Mora lost 65-52 in their recent league challenge against Milaca (Milaca, MN)
Next up, the Sting play the Big Lake Hornets (Big Lake, MN) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, February 24. Spectrum will attempt to improve on its 16-6 season record.
