February 13, 2023: Adams, WI 53910 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Poynette Pumas (Poynette, WI) and the host Adams-Friendship Green Devils (Adams, WI), saw Poynette's basketball squad knock off Adams-Friendship by a tally of 65-49.
With the victory, Poynette improves its record to 17-9 on the campaign. The Pumas host Lakeside Lutheran (Lake Mills, WI) to play the Warriors in a Capitol - North challenge on Thursday, February 16. The Warriors come into the challenge with a record of 14-9. Lakeside Lutheran won 65-45 in their recent league challenge against Luther Prep (Watertown, WI)
Next up, the Green Devils play the Nekoosa Papermakers (Nekoosa, WI) in a South Central challenge, on Thursday, February 16. Adams-Friendship will attempt to improve on its 5-14 season record. The Papermakers come into the challenge with a 2-17 record after their 69-9 league loss to Wisconsin Dells (Wisconsin Dells, WI).
