Poynette Pumas (Poynette, WI) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Lodi Blue Devils (Lodi, WI), 52-48 in a league bout.

With the win, Poynette upgrades its record to 14-7 on the season. The Pumas travel to Luther Prep (Watertown, WI) to clash with the Phoenix in a Capitol - North bout on Thursday, February 2. The Phoenix go into the bout with a record of 3-12.

Next up, the Blue Devils clash with the Portage Warriors (Portage, WI) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 31. Lodi will attempt to upgrade on its 4-14 season record.
