Asheville School (Independent) Blues (Asheville, NC) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Hickory Grove Christian Lions (Charlotte, NC), 71-58 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Asheville School (Independent) upgrades its record to 9-14 on the season. The Blues travel to Greensboro Day School (Greensboro, NC) to clash with the Bengals in a non-league bout on Thursday, February 15. The Bengals go into the bout with a record of 23-12. Greensboro Day School won 71-17 in their recent non-league bout against Thales Academy Rolesville (Rolesville, NC)
