The Hickory Grove Christian Lions basketball team (Charlotte, NC), was routed 85-60 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Gaston Christian Eagles (Gastonia, NC)

The Eagles now sport a 5-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Concord Academy for a NCISAA Metrolina battle on Tuesday, December 5. Gaston Christian will battle a Eagles team coming off a 81-71 non-league loss to Asheville Christian Academy (Swannanoa, NC). The Eagles record now stands at 6-4.
