North Carolina High School Basketball - Gaston Day crushes Hickory Grove Christian

Gaston Day Spartans (Gastonia, NC) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Hickory Grove Christian Lions (Charlotte, NC), 89-55 in a league bout.

With the win, Gaston Day upgrades its record to 8-4 on the season. The Spartans travel to Concord Academy (Concord, NC) to clash with the Eagles in a NCISAA Metrolina bout on Friday, December 8. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 6-5. Concord Academy lost 70-61 in their recent league bout against Gaston Christian (Gastonia, NC)

Next up, the Lions clash with the SouthLake Christian Academy (Huntersville, NC) in a NCISAA Metrolina bout, on Friday, December 8. Hickory Grove Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 3-5 season record.
