The Gaston Christian Eagles basketball team (Gastonia, NC), was nudged 44-37 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting Northside Christian Academy Knights (Charlotte, NC)

The Knights now possess a 14-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Chambers for a non-league battle on Saturday, December 30. Northside Christian Academy will battle a Cougars team coming off a 70-58 non-league win over United Faith Christian Academy (Charlotte, NC). The Cougars record now stands at 8-3.

The Eagles (10-9) will now prepare for their battle against United Faith Christian Academy (Charlotte, NC). The Falcons come into the non-league battle with a 12-5 record. In their last battle, United Faith Christian Academy was nudged by Chambers (Charlotte, NC), 70-58, in a non-league battle.
