Wisconsin High School Basketball - Cornell ripped by Clayton
February 13, 2024: Clayton, WI 54004 The Clayton Bears basketball team scored 52 points and held the visiting Cornell Chiefs to 24 in the Bears league triumph on Tuesday.
The Bears now sport a 11-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host New Auburn for a Lakeland - East contest on Friday, February 16. Clayton will battle a Trojans team coming off a 71-49 league loss to Birchwood (Birchwood, WI). The Trojans record now stands at 14-6.
The Chiefs (2-20) will now prepare for their contest against Bruce (Bruce, WI). The Red Raiders enter the Lakeland - East contest with a 11-10 record. In their last contest, Bruce was routed by Prentice (Prentice, WI), 76-56, in a non-league contest.
