Minnesota High School Basketball - Faribault overwhelmed by Mankato East
February 13, 2024: Faribault, MN 55021 The Mankato East Cougars basketball team scored 104 points and restricted the host Faribault Falcons to 44 in the Cougars non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Cougars now sport a 20-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mayo for a non-league contest on Friday, February 16. Mankato East will battle a Spartans team coming off a 70-60 non-league win over Winona (Winona, MN). The Spartans record now stands at 10-10.
The Falcons (10-10) will now prepare for their contest against Century (Rochester, MN). The Panthers come into the non-league contest with a 14-7 record. In their last contest, Century triumphed over Owatonna (Owatonna, MN), 77-59, in a league contest.
