Minnesota High School Basketball - Faribault tops Northfield
January 23, 2024: Faribault, MN 55021 Faribault Falcons (Faribault, MN) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Northfield Raiders (Northfield, MN), 66-58 in a league bout.
With the victory, Faribault upgrades its record to 7-6 on the campaign. The Falcons travel to Mayo (Rochester, MN) to play the Spartans in a non-league bout on Friday, January 26. The Spartans come into the bout with a record of 6-7. Mayo won 78-61 in their recent league bout against Owatonna (Owatonna, MN)
Next up, the Raiders play the Mankato East Cougars (Mankato, MN) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 25. Northfield will attempt to upgrade on its 8-8 season record. The Cougars come into the bout with a 14-1 record after their 91-58 non-league win over Austin (Austin, MN).
