Oregon High School Basketball - Phoenix nips Hidden Valley
February 13, 2024: Phoenix, OR 97535 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Phoenix Pirates (Phoenix, OR) and the visiting Hidden Valley Mustangs (Grants Pass, OR), saw Phoenix's basketball squad hold off Hidden Valley by a tally of 51-48.
With the victory, Phoenix improves its record to 16-5 on the campaign. The Pirates travel to Henley (Klamath Falls, OR) to play the Hornets in a 4A Skyline challenge on Tuesday, February 20. The Hornets come into the challenge with a record of 13-8. Henley won 47-44 in their recent league challenge against Klamath Union (Klamath Falls, OR)
Next up, the Mustangs play the Mazama Vikings (Klamath Falls, OR) in a 4A Skyline challenge, on Friday, February 16. Hidden Valley will attempt to improve on its 12-9 season record. The Vikings come into the challenge with a 3-17 record after their 60-55 league loss to Klamath Union (Klamath Falls, OR).
