February 13, 2024: Stevens Point, WI 54481 The Pacelli Cardinals (Stevens Point, WI) basketball felled the visiting Newman Fighting Cardinals (Wausau, WI), 68-52 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Cardinals (15-6) will now prepare for their test against Wild Rose (Wild Rose, WI). The Wildcats go into the Central Wisconsin - South test with a 6-15 record. In their last test, Wild Rose thwarted Gresham Community (Gresham, WI), 51-33, in a non-league test.
The Fighting Cardinals now own a 4-17 record. They play next when they host Stratford for a Marawood - South test on Friday, February 16. Newman will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 57-40 non-league win over Rib Lake (Rib Lake, WI). The Tigers record now stands at 16-5.
