Michigan High School Basketball - Walled Lake Central nips South Lyon East
February 13, 2024: Walled Lake, MI 48390 Walled Lake Central Vikings (Walled Lake, MI) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting South Lyon East Cougars (South Lyon, MI), 66-59 in a league bout.
With the victory, Walled Lake Central upgrades its record to 18-1 on the campaign. The Vikings host Mott (Waterford, MI) to play the Corsairs in a Lakes Valley bout on Friday, February 16. The Corsairs come into the bout with a record of 17-3. Mott won 53-42 in their recent league bout against Walled Lake Northern (Commerce, MI)
Next up, the Cougars play the Walled Lake Northern Knights (Commerce, MI) in a Lakes Valley game, on Friday, February 16. South Lyon East will attempt to move on its 12-8 season record. The Knights enter the game with a 6-13 record after their 53-42 league loss to Mott (Waterford, MI).
