North Central Knights (Bassett, NE) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Burwell Longhorns (Burwell, NE), 41-26 in a non-league bout.

With the win, North Central upgrades its record to 12-9 on the season. The Knights travel to St. Mary's (O'Neill, NE) to clash with the Cardinals in a non-league bout on Thursday, February 15. The Cardinals go into the bout with a record of 20-2. St. Mary's won 73-28 in their recent non-league bout against Boyd County (Spencer, NE)
