February 13, 2024: Truth or Consequences, NM 87901 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Socorro Warriors (Socorro, NM) and the host Hot Springs Tigers (Truth or Consequences, NM), saw Socorro's basketball squad hold off Hot Springs by a tally of 37-32.
With the victory, Socorro improves its record to 6-16 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Hatch Valley (Hatch, NM) to play the Bears in a 3A District 3 challenge on Thursday, February 15. The Bears come into the challenge with a record of 7-14. Hatch Valley lost 34-33 in their recent league challenge against Cobre (Bayard, NM)
Next up, the Tigers play the Cobre Indians (Bayard, NM) in a 3A District 3 challenge, on Thursday, February 15. Hot Springs will attempt to improve on its 4-17 season record. The Indians come into the challenge with a 5-17 record after their 34-33 league win over Hatch Valley (Hatch, NM).
