The The Covenant Eagles (Charlottesville, VA) basketball knocked off the visiting New Covenant Gryphons (Lynchburg, VA), 53-40 in Tuesday's league test.

The Eagles (10-5) will now prepare for their test against Fishburne Military (Waynesboro, VA). The Caissons go into the test with a 0-8 record. In their last test, Fishburne Military went down by Miller School of Albemarle (Charlottesville, VA), 70-34, in a league test.

The Gryphons now own a 13-1 record. They play next when they travel to Hargrave Military Academy for a test on Thursday, February 15. New Covenant will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 49-46 league win over Virginia Episcopal School (Lynchburg, VA). The Tigers record now stands at 10-2.
