In Thursday's non-league bout, the Port Allen Pelicans (Port Allen, LA) baseball squad overwhelmed the visiting East St. John Wildcats (Reserve, LA), by a tally of 16-0.

Next up, the Pelicans encounter the Avoyelles Mustangs (Moreauville, LA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 14. Port Allen will attempt to upgrade on its 1-0 season record. The Mustangs enter the bout with a 2-2 record after their 10-7 non-league win over Simpson (Simpson, LA).
