The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Belleview Christian Bruins (Westminster, CO) and the host Dawson School Mustangs (Lafayette, CO), observed Belleview Christian's basketball team edge Dawson School by a score of 44-43.

The Bruins (9-9) will now prepare for their battle against Denver Academy (Denver, CO). The Mustangs enter the 3A/2A/1A Mile High battle with a 7-11 record. In their last battle, Denver Academy was nudged by Estes Park (Estes Park, CO), 71-33, in a league battle.
